PHOENIX
An interpretation of a rebirth after a burnout.
The artwork is a personal depiction of the Phoenix, the mythical bird symbol of hope, renewal, rebirth, immortality, resurrection, solitude, and grace.
These are the symbols I used for this contemporary mythical creature.
OUROBOROS: symbol for eternal cyclic renewal or a cycle of life, death, and rebirth.
OMEGA-ALPHA: the last and the first letter of the Greek alphabet.
Here: The End is the new Beginning
The 2 MACHETES are the symbol/weapons of ỌYA, the orisha of winds, lightning, and violent storms, death and rebirth. She uses them to create a new path.
